Monument Sound Studio

Spacious and comfortable rooms with lots of windows and light. We haven't gotten the hang of the layout just yet, so it's a bit confusing to find our room. Great hot tub and pool! We like the bathtub located in the bedroom area! Overall very good impression!

Overall this is a nice resort there are a couple of areas that could use improvement. While overall the room was clean there were a few areas that could use some attention there was some mildew in the shower as well as some over spray left in sync area in bathroom and kitchen. Overall though the room was in good shape and clean the furniture was new and well maintained. I had a corner unit which was nice in the sense that no windows were overlooking the walkway. However the use of space in the unit was a little inefficient there was a large entry/hallway that was not used for anything leaving the living room dining room and kitchen to be in a small area. The kitchen while having new appliances a nice Backsplash and counter was incredibly small It had next to no counter space which made preparing even simple meals challenging. All of the staff was friendly and helpful no issues there at all and the spa was nice and relaxing. Great architecture, its own village setting. Well maintained and great amenities. Only disappointment was the adults only hot tub was under repair and unable to use. We had a top floor studio for 8 nights and it was a great space. Fully enjoying our stay! The scenery kept us in awe. Greeted by hot air balloons on Sunday afternoon at our arrival.

Chris Andrews is the best! My request was difficult...transferring a cassette from 1974 to digital...and the cassette was rough. He stayed in contact as to his progress...this cassette was very important to me and approached the job with kid gloves. Chris is tenacious! Thank you Chris!

That is the main thing I'd say about my experience with Chris Andrews and Monument Sound. There are so many ways for a recording project to crash and burn, but with Chris, stuff just goes right.

It's not just his deep engineering chops, attention to detail, artistic sensibilities, killer ear etc (and he has all that stuff in spades) - it's that he really seems to care about your project. You know he is going to give you the best he has to offer. When Chris sent me his final mixes, I imagine I felt a little like Dylan did when he first heard Jimi's version of All Along the Watchtower: "How in the world did he make it sound like that?!"

Chris is a true craftsman and a great guy - a joy to work with. I can tell you one thing for sure: I won't be wasting any time shopping around for the right engineer on my next project.

Our mix engineer recommended Chris from Monument Sound to us. He was a pleasure to work with. Fast, thorough, and pertinent in his attention to the mix. We will certainly be working with Monument again in the future.

What an awesome and amazing experience, I’ve been recording in studios for over 30 years and Monument Sound has got to be one of best !!! Chris Andrew’s knowledge of engineering is impeccable and truly understands the artists vision. Completely blown away by what he can do. Hands down the best studio experience we have ever had..! Chris is a true professional. The studio setting and state of the art recording equipment allowed us to get a professional recording completed very efficiently. It was relaxed, fun, and Chris is great to work with. 5 stars..!
