The RV ranch at Phantom Canyon

We pulled into Cañon City much later than our original scheduled time. Every park we called either didn't answer (starting at 6pm) or were full or closed at sunset. Mitchell at Phantom Canyon RV park answered a chat message and told me to call him. They were very helpful in getting us checked in after dark. It appears to be a newer park still a work in progress, the site was HUGE and conveniently located right off major interstate. Thank you for the great service and helpfulness. We will stay here again!

Needs some work but they're still working on improvements. No laundry facility was a bummer but not a big deal. The only thing I'd recommend an improvement would be level out the sites better so they're not so unlevel. It was hard to get our travel trailer leveled. Otherwise, we had no issues.

After reading many of the reviews, I have a few things to say. Thank god this place is here. Did any of you complainers take a look around at the beautiful views here? Have any of you ever started a business on your own? If this place isn’t good enough for you then move on down the road. Any new people that are looking for something will be happy to know they now have full hookups, they have put in a storm shelter, they have started landscaping. I guess my point is, it takes time. And we are living through the highest cost of living yet. I like privacy. I have it. I have not seen anyone fighting or causing trouble. We leave in 2 days and I hope to be able to come back sometime. If you want a resort go to Florida where you can be stacked in like sardines in a can.
