“Jessica House is FABULOUS. She is super sweet and easy to talk to. My hair cut is exactly what I was hoping for. I was way overdue for a hair cut and a new look, so I decided to get swoopy "bottle neck" side bangs along with an upgraded long length layered look and I love the cut and the bangs so much. And we all know how regretful bangs can be sometimes. Not these! I feel great and my hair looks amazing. I haven't left a haircut smiling like that in a long time, if ever! She took the time to get to know what I was looking for, asked lots of questions and answered all of mine. While she cut, she spent a lot of time chatting through the future color of my hair while I got my cut, explaining what might look good with my skin tone and how she would achieve the look I'm hoping for down the road. “I have been going to April to get my haircut for years. I go from long to very short with very drastic cuts/styles each time. Every time she listens to what I want and executes amazingly! Best is that she knows hair types and what will and won't work and will share the knowledge. Saved me from more than one bad haircut I'm sure. “Had a mom/daughter spa day last week. 2 days before Valentine’s Day. We arrived 15-20 mins early & the doors were locked, they ask for you to call upon arrival but our phones didn’t get service & the call would not connect. Eventually we got through but then it felt very rushed from there. We were freezing from standing outside & the receptionist showed no compassion. The waiting room area was pretty full too. My massage was average 5 out of 10, my daughter said hers was great but it was also her first. We also had facials which were awesome. We would rate those a 10. It’s a beautiful spa. I would give it another try on a less busy day.”

If you are looking for a salon while traveling (or are lucky enough to live here) in the Golden, CO area, then Colorado Hair Company is the place to go! My stylist (Deb) was top notch! She understood what I was looking for, was able to bring my color back to life, and make the mess of a previous cut look SO much better!! I felt welcome in the salon (even the owner introduced herself) and very comfortable expressing what I was looking for. Observing the clients' results from the 3 stylists working the day I was there, they all do great work and you could tell it started with a good cut. Wish I lived closer!”
