“I can't say enough positive things about this place!! So informative, interactive and fun! These animals are taken such amazing care of and preserving each species is so important. They're doing a fantastic job! Great place for the entire family to visit. Reservations sell out so pick your date and time and go! You will not regret it. We even got to see a bear hanging out in a tree!”

“This course was fun and challenging. The fairways were well designed and required forehand and backhand shots as well as demand a good scramble game to get a par. Nice mix of open and wooded holes as well as long and short holes. Also, there is great signage and concrete tee pads. You will never need to guess where to go next. Lastly the owner Jeremy was very nice and offered some helpful advice for some of the holes. I will definitely try to come back.”

“We stayed here for 3 nights in June and our experience was fantastic. The owners have done a tremendous job upgrading this campground to make it a lovely experience for all campers. I have not been to a private campground before that provides such spacious sites to allow for privacy if that is what you are looking for. The camp hosts and crew could not have been more helpful and were very knowledgeable of the area around Cripple Creek. If you are looking to experience an area that will take you back to historical Colorado The Rocking M Ranch Campground is a great place to call your home base as you explore this unique area of the state.”

“The best part about this place is it's got a the campsites are spread out quite a ways from each other you don't have neighbors right on top of you and the showers are hot”

“Our dogs had fun here. We took them on our last day visiting Colorado kind of a chill day. There isn't any grass, and it's not very big, but there were bowls of water that weren't frozen and toys laying around. We were the o ly two dogs there so we did not use the small dog area but its nice they have it.”

“Awesome! This was our first trip in our new camper and it couldn't have been a better experience. The gentleman who checked is in was super helpful and nice, and the campground itself is very new and will laid out. We backed up into some trees and had a great view. This is a perfect spot and the drive through Victor and Cripple Creek is nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“The road to the campground is accessible and I had no problem getting up there with a Honda Odyssey. The sites vary in size but all of them are spacious and relatively secluded. All sites come with a fire ring and a picnic table, bathrooms are maintained well, and there's plenty of space to explore. The trails surrounding the camp are marked well and easy to navigate. The views are gorgeous, I spent hours looking out at the scenery. The host was also very friendly. I would love to come back here.”

“A refreshing break from typical plastic playground equipment. Here you'll only find natural materials and recycled tires. This playground has so many elements making it fun for kids of all ages! It has many little hiding places and secret passages that the kids love exploring. We will definitely be coming back to this park!”

“Never actually camped there, always around the general area. Location is right near a spot that is frequented by shooters (legally). Don't expect a peaceful day of nature sounds without the occasional gunshot. As I am a part of that, I also apologize.”

“Fun to climb. My 6 year old and I climbed it for an hour. We had a blast. Make sure you have good hiking shoes and or boots on. Not a.climb for tennis shoes or sandals. Bring water and snacks. Be prepared to take rest stops. Always bring bear spray.”

“Crags Campground is a popular 4-season destination, even (perhaps especially) in the winter. Dog friendly. The campground is closed in the winter, but free parking is available 1.1 miles down the road from the Devil's Playground and Pike's Peak trailhead and 0.6 miles from the Raspberry Mountain trailhead. This time of year the hiking with microspikes and snowshoes is wonderful. The trail up to Pike's Peak is available for the more adventurous hikers. Often gorgeous conditions for cross country skiing or hiking up and snowboarding down various trails. Of course, check the weather in advance and come prepared! When checking the weather, the closest town is Divide, CO.”

“Nice campground still has water and flushing a bathroom in winter. Stayed in peak view loop and had some lovely views of the mountains facing towards the road. You are up in elevation so be prepared for cooler weather any sort of elevation sickness and adjustments for cooking.”

“"Emory Cranston" whom felt it was necessary to leave a cry baby review for others not wearing a mask outside... Stay at home if your so scared.. we live in the land of the free America! Others like myself need clean crisp fresh air when outside enjoying what the good lord has created! Also we loved the trail never felt better after we got done hiking this beauty!”

“Amazing staff work this place. It is very clean and well kept, lots of little fun things to do around the campground and the area. The woman who helped us find trails was very knowledgeable about where to go. (Hit the trails early though, those parking lots fill up fast.) The cabins were better than the last several KOA I stayed at. The cabins have more details added and are better sealed so bugs aren't bunking with you. Very nice bathrooms and showers, with super cute decorations. And the grills out for use are a godsend during a burn ban. The camp kitchen is also a really nice feature that is crazy convenient. This is definitely the nicest KOA I've stayed at, even without a pool.”

“I went camping with a group of 5. The camp grounds were clean. It was easy to pay. Bathrooms were clean. There were a few spots left open. I stayed two nights three days. Water hydrants were still on. Good thing I took a small heater it got down to 25°F the last night. Great place. I can't wait to take my kids there next year.”

“Great place to camp in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Beautiful views, well maintained trails. Clean restroom facilities. Not much litter but I always bring extra bags to pack out more than I packed in. Remember to check ahead for fire bans. Not many bugs but bring sunscreen and drinking water. Take nothing but pictures leave nothing but footprints.”
