“Great place to camp in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Beautiful views, well maintained trails. Clean restroom facilities. Not much litter but I always bring extra bags to pack out more than I packed in. Remember to check ahead for fire bans. Not many bugs but bring sunscreen and drinking water. Take nothing but pictures leave nothing but footprints.”

“A challenging ATV trail, with some rock slabs. Easy to roll an ATV.”

“Right off the road and easy to find. Our scouts were able to start a fire in the fire pit and climb the rocks here. There was a short walk to the fishing lake which was nice. The camp sites are a bit close for my taste but easy to get to.”

“I love coming to this lake. I call it my secret place. It’s not very far from civilization but it’s so peaceful and calm. It’s our local treasure that not many people know about. It’s a decent sized clean lake maybe 20 minutes out if that from Woodland Park. I think they require payment for parking to keep it clean but the trail around the lake is easy enough for children to walk and great for fishing since it’s so quiet. My sister and I come up here to read and draw a lot. Maybe this year I’ll see if they will let us hammock here. Love this place ❤️”

“What a great camp! We've been twice to their family camp and our daughter attended one of their summer camps this year. Each experience has been absolutely wonderful. The facilities are well maintained, food is good (especially for group preparation) and everyone is kind and friendly. Love Camp Elim”

“We took a couples trip here with friends and it was absolutely amazing! The cabin was PERFECT! They even had us a bottle of wine waiting for us. Everything was stocked and clean! The hot tub was 104* and clean! It snowed one day and they came and scraped the roads for us. The cabin is 20 min from the city - which was perfect. Enough to feel close enough to town but just far enough away to feel in the country! We loved it all! Thank you!”
