“Everything was top notch. We ordered the cheddar biscuits and chorizo gravy and the lox bagel. I asked to substitute the eggs for bacon and they happily obliged. I even saw -$1.50 for eggs on the screen so that’s cool that they only make you pay for what you’re getting. I asked for the potatoes extra crispy and they came out perfect. Our drinks were their daily special, a honey lavender latte. We were both very impressed. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and we only waited about 10 minutes to receive our food. “This is the best BBQ I have had in Colorado so far. I know some people were complaining about the slowness of the food and prices, but it’s all about perspective. I’m sure it would have cost quite a bit in any bigger city you went to. Sure, you might find cheaper BBQ somewhere else in Colorado, but in my experience, there isn’t too much places for good BBQ in this state. When I was there, the service was not slow. I split a sandwich with my wife that more than filled both of us up. We took the ribs and brisket to go and really enjoyed both the next day. The food is healthy portions. You might get 3 ribs if you order half a meal. Same goes with the brisket. It might not seem like much, but it filled both my wife and me up. All their meat is smoked and fall off the bone good. Burnt ends were really good too. BBQ sauce was pretty good, but the meat is where they shine. I definitely plan on going back here.”

Got the 2 roll special and ordered an extra roll, my favorite is Salmon Skin Roll and I like to order it at each new sushi place to see how they do it. This one, while simple, had the skin nice and crispy with cucumber slices to make it more interesting. Will definitely come back again to try some different items.
