Chuck's Steak House

The salmon and mushroom risotto was absolutely perfect, albeit a pretty small portion. My two simple requests of ‘medium rare’ and no salt were followed to a T. However, I did see two tables next to me send back their medium rare steaks for being medium well—so make sure you’re crystal clear with your server.

The salad bar is cute, but don’t expect the ‘grand’ layout like you’d see on a cruise ship or at an old-school C Brown’s.

Our server, Manny, was so ‘in the weeds’ as Chuck’s clearly wasn’t prepared for the Labor Day weekend rush. You simply can’t give someone 20+ tables when this place probably warrants 5 tables per server.

Why the photo of the coffee with Splendas? Because it’s almost impossible to find a place that will look you squarely in the eye and say, ‘Sure thing, we’ve got Sweet’N Low,’ when you ask for coffee with half-and-half and Splenda. LOL… This is a ‘bring your own sweetener’ place.

First time visit since it changed hands. Great service, cozy atmosphere. Salad bar very good, great selections, clean had fresh bread.
The meal was good. A bit pricey for what I ordered, had surf and turf witch consisted of 1 large scallop, 1 large shrimp and beef tips which were a bit tough.
I rarely order beef for that exact reason. The flavors were good.

Although the menu options have slimmed down significantly since the new ownership (still miss the sliders and truffle fries), the drinks and food that we ordered were very delicious. The salad bar is still as amazing as it was previously, and the staff were very friendly. Overall going to Chucks was a nice experience, and we will most likely return in the near future.

Wow!!! When I heard Tom B took control We knew it would be even better. Tom B has hit a Home run with this spot. It’s fantastic, plenty of life and plenty of memories all intact. Bravo Tom and Dean as usual you superscede expectations.
