(September 23, 2017, 8:19 pm)I am not Catholic, but this is still a good review. This church engages their community through various ways, however the most noticeable is annually when they do their Fair here. It is so welcoming and warm, good small town feel. Many close friends of mine attend this church, but more importantly the congregants are actively engaged in the community (also in non-religious ways) positively impacting Newtown and it's families even outside of the church. Culture, community and loving people are what make Newtown great. St Rose is one of the influential factors in making that happen.

(July 2, 2017, 1:43 pm)Always good no matter who says the Mass. Great priests nuns and decons. Also many alter servers - never a disappointment!
(June 19, 2017, 12:55 am)St. Rose of Lima is a vibrant, faith filled parish. We've attended Mass there on several occasions while in town visiting friends. The St. Rose community is warm and welcoming, offering a true Catholic Christian experience.
