“Great hike we enjoyed it with our 2 dogs - pretty views of the water and the trail was mostly marked well other than a few spots.”

“Hey it is a fun place. Lots of fields to play in and a steep hiking trail that I haven't explored yet. There is a pool for residents of Sandy Hook if I can figure out how to set that up, 4 or 6 tennis courts including a small one for children. A nice little playground. There are bathrooms, but I didn't see any selling of drinks or snacks or any vending machines. It is reasonably big and takes a bit of time walking from the tennis courts to the end of the soccer fields. There are lights for night time sporting events on at least the baseball fields.”

“The Prydden Brook Falls, located along the Zoar Trail in the Paugussett State Forest, Connecticut. It's a fun up and down hike along the Housatonic River to get to the waterfall. About 1.5 miles in and 1.5 miles out from the trailhead on Great Quarter Road. The falls are spectacular, especially because all the rain we had yesterday 10.02.18 around CT.”

“A very nice little hiking area, just a little bit away from Sandy Hook Center. It's a little hard to find because there aren't any signs mentioning it, but follow a map and you'll get there. The park itself consists of what is essentially one long hiking trail that loops back on itself. The majority of the trail is fairly level and tame, although there are a few spots that cross streams or fallen trees and one area that is steep and rocky. The forest itself is very beautiful, and the trail takes you past an old damn and then up to the side of cliff where you can get a scenic view of the adjacent river.”

“Very good and beautiful place for hiking and would of given this 5 stars several weeks ago, but a massive storm blew down a lot of trees completely blocking some of the paths. I would of easily gotten lost since some of the trail marked trees have fallen over as well.”

“Secluded location. Boat ramp is in desperate need of a refresh, but usable. Requires key, which can be purchased for the season from Parks and Rec for $125.”
