Delicious food in an atmosphere of colonial civility. Very enjoyable. Soon going back for a 4th time!
Beautifully designed hotel/restaurant with excellent good and even better service. Only ding with the place is that parking is valet only which can be annoying for some. PS. This place is in a very residential area and you won't necessarily know that it is there. Very easy to just drive right by!
The In at GrayBarns is a popular hangout in Norwalk and for good reason. I went for dinner on a Saturday night and we were seated promptly by the hostess.
Service was great throughout the meal and the waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu items. For starters, we got the crab toast and kale salad - both were tasty and relatively easy to share.
For mains, my sister got the cheeseburger and fries and enjoyed it. My wife got the halibut and also found it quite good. I had the lobster which was flavorful, though I felt there could have been more provided for the cost.
A good spot for a weekend dinner, but be sure to get your reservations early as they get taken rather quickly!
