“Travellers, this is a nice dinner off the Merritt parkway in Stanford Connecticut. The menu has a large variety of items to choose from. There are sandwiches that are served cold, served hot, and served open faced. They have traditional Greek food included on the menu too. Overall it was a good dining experience. Open-faced roast beef sandwich was delicious, and chicken Caesar salad was delicious too. And also quite large. The gyros are excellent and the fries are outstanding. The spinach pie wasn't the bright spot on the menu. The service was quick and with a smile. Good dining experience. Check it out. We recommend. TL;DR - Solid diner fare”

“Atmosphere: 5 Came by as a pit stop on our road trip. The restaurant isn't big, but there's a few tables and bar seating available. I love that the food came out super fast. My husband and I built a poke bowl and there was a separate paper menu where you could circle your options which makes ordering so much easier. The order was processed quickly, and in less than 10 minutes, we got our food! Portions: 5 The portioning was just right. There was a ton of fish (I ordered tuna and salmon) and the portioning of the other ingredients was just right. I didn't feel like the dressing was too much. I felt like they were generous in allowing the number of choices within each category. So you can really create a poke bowl with a variety of different things in it. Flavors: 5 The fish was fresh and there were so many ways to customize the poke bowl, you really can't go wrong! With all the options, I felt like there were a ton of different textures in the poke bowl. Everything balances out and is super refreshing over a bed of mixed greens. Overall, I'd go there again for the poke bowl. Quick, easy, and refreshing!”

“on my first time here I didn't get the best first impression or experience. however, the food was good so I did decide to try it again and it was worth coming back. I was in town for work and was staying at the hotel so I ate here a few times. the food really is that good. and they are always packed for dinner. they have two different dining rooms, one by the lounge and another in the back that looks like fine dining. the bartender is one of the best people. so nice and accommodating. overall not a bad place. I do think that they have odd hours especially being connected directly to a hotel. the managers will try to not let you in even for a quick drink at night before close even though their hours of operation are still technically "open".”

“Went here for an early dinner with my sister while visiting Stamford. Mask requirements have been reduced and the staff stayed masked during this visit. Having grown up in Chinatown NY, I thought the food was well made and tasty. Although the entree portions were in line with Western restaurant portions, they were smaller than what I am used to in NYC prior to the pandemic. Still, the service was good, the food was made quickly, tasty and worth the cost IMHO. I'd easily recommend this pleasant oasis of well made Chinese food.”

“The new Farmhouse at the Crossroads is a great experience. Only recently opened and it's interesting to see the restaurant evolve and hit their stride. Food is creative and delicious. Chef Matt is committed to his craft. The GM, Kirsten is delightful and works hard to provide the best dining experience. Brunch is probably my favorite with the Avocado Toast and small tasting flight of Bloody Mary's. The Medjool Dates are a must try. Chicken & Waffles are excellent (while they last - sell out quick). Craft beers, yum. Fun, great vibe, should totally have staying power.”

“Talk about thin crust and great flavor. We had the hot oil pie and then half pepperoni/meatball. I'm not a spicy person, but the heat from the pepper was just right. The deli sliced pepperoni was a great addition as was the mini meatballs. I would definitely take a trip here again!”

“Tried the cheese and margarita pizzas. The cheese pizza reminded me of Nick's (also in Stamford) but with a bit less flavor. Probably because they went light on the tomato sauce. The margarita was good, but the globs of cheese were wide instead of thick, resulting in a weaker, more dispersed taste. The crust was at a place between crispy and chewy that no one can complain about but also doesn't stand out. The menu has the largest Italian selection I've seen at one restaurant, and the free delivery was great.”

“One of my favorite places in Stamford. Great neighborhood beach bar with amazing food. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu and they always have daily specials. My favorites are the chicken Caesar wrap, Buffalo chicken wrap, and French dip. Have the best pickles in town too. The drinks are great too- one of the best margaritas in Stamford. The waitresses and owners are great too and make you feel right at home!”

The menu has a wide variety and everything they prepare is fresh and tastes terrific. On Thursday nights they have trivia contests which is a lot of fun (which surprised me as I thought it was going to be a waste of time and it definitely wasn't). Whenever I'm up in North Stamford I try to get here - even if it's for takeout. (And... The gal that is the owner (Judy) also owns the Tabouli Grill down High Ridge in bullshead which has some of the best Mediterranean food around)”
