“Very large state park with several gorgeous trails. There are trails going around the perimeter of the lake as well. You can easily spend several hours hiking some of the trails here because of how long they are.”

“Very neat experience! I have recently made it a goal to visit numerous national parks and sites! This one was unique being the home of Weir an American impressionist painter! They had free art supplies to borrow and use during your stay. There were tours of the home and art studios you could sign up for! There is also a pond to walk around (very quick walk) and to sit and create art! I had a great time with an old friend!”

“There are ample parking lots on different spots along the trail. We started from the main parking lot at Wolfpit Rd, walked 2 miles before turning back. The flat gravel trail is an easy walk through the woods with a stream partially alongside. It's family and dog friendly.”

“These Saugatuck trails are far ranging and within / associated with the watershed lands surrounding the reservoirs. No dogs allowed, sadly. Markings / blazes are sometimes hard to find on the lessor used trails but in all respects provide a good experience. Many parking niches and spaces along the shore roads - some with potties(!) Verdict: Go there... You need a trail map provided free by Aquarion Water Co. as your "permit".”

“What a great spot stop by if you're traveling on 95 say hello and remember clean up after your dog. Just a word of warning to any parents that bring their children please don't let the children go to the dogs that are there. We had an incident where a gentleman had just adopted a new dog from a shelter he was trying to tell me the dog was fine my son walked over the dog bit him that's the bite mark on his and her pictures”
