Beautiful and a wood'sy campground. When i'm camping, i want WOODS not a field, this campground is WELL done! We have a 25ft RV and had no problems setting up.
I love the park. It has many good trails and friendly staff. Plus one of the best water parks around. So why only 4 stars? I had to remove one because you can never depend on when the Nature Center will be open. Sometimes it's almost as if no body showed up to open it. Other times it looks like they close it so they can run training sessions in the building. The center really needs to be run more professionally!
Always a great place for walk or a quick fishing or kayak trip - maybe a game of disc golf. Lots of choices here. The pondside trail is our family favorite for a hike with the hounds. And the kids never tire of the nature center - small but nice with friendly, informative staff.
Are you stressed out? Then come visit this sanctuary and let nature's tonics relieve the weary soul. Tonics available are:
- the sounds of birds, frogs, and insects
- cool breezes
- warm sun rays
- calming visuals
And plenty more to rejuvenate the mind.
Blessings for all
