BEST PLACE YOU CAN NOT GO WRONG SENDING YOUR LOVED ONE THERE THEY WILL NOT ALLOW THEM JUST TO SIT IN BED THEY MAKE THEM GO AND EAT IN THE DINING ROOM THEY ARE THE SWEETEST PEOPLE AND THE SISTERS ARE AMAZING THEY ARE THE BEST PLACE AROUND I WOULD RECOMEND TO EVERY ONE
he Sisters are amazing. Everyone on the staff is smiling, friendly and goes out of their way to help the residents. Everyone working or volunteering there is is dedicated to the cause of keeping the residents healthy and happy. It works because the people that work there and those that live there are all part of the community there. It's often hard to tell who is a volunteer and who is a resident.
When looking for a place to put my mother, who is on medicaid and gets less than $800 a month in social security I deeply researched the facilities in the state. Two non-profits are the only facilities that have no blemishes on their records. Little Sisters of the Poor's Jeanne Jugan Residence and Westminster Village in Dover have higher quality ratings (if you investigate all resources) than any other facilities in the state. I was lucky to get my my mother into independent living with the sisters last year. I can't remember her being happier.
Home care wasn't working for her was not providing nearly the enrichment she gets at the Jeanne Jugan Residence.
