Employees are very sweet. I usually place an order to go and it is immediately done! I once dropped a note and an employee followed me out to return it to me. Food is healthier than other places. Love the muffins. My go to is the Chihuahua which has chicken. The owners are great friends with my brother. Love the magnets and the Catholic references. Regardless of your background, this place is very welcoming and friendly.
We stopped here for lunch while visiting the nearby Hagley Museum. It is apparently one of several in the Wilmington area. It has a cute name and the sandwiches are named after dog breeds (no cats). There is ample seating inside and out; most of the patio is in full sun. I had the grilled cheese sandwich and tomato bisque; my wife had the "Cocker Spaniel" vegetarian sandwich. The food came out very quickly and tasted as we expected.
This Deli is amazing. The food always comes out great and the staff are always so friendly. The sandwiches named after breeds of dogs was such a great idea to bring in the crowd. Their giant muffins are amazing too!
Wonderful sit down area, staff, and all around great place to be. You can eat indoor or outdoor.
Also the stickers are free!
Great soup/sandwich combo. Sandwich was amazing! The soup was good too; it reminded me of the soup restaurant I used to work at. We did not have to wait very long for our food, staff was nice. Dining area/bathroom were both clean. Was just passing by today but would definitely return if I lived closer.
