“So far is one of the MOST AMAZING museum that i have visited so far! The garden is wonderful and huge, one could spend a whole day walking around and be in dreamland. They offer garden tram that is included in your admission ticket and you need to pay an additional $5 fee for the House tour at your option, which is totally worth it because not only the tour guide are friendly but as well they are well trained with abundant knowledge about the house and the Dupont family’s lifestyle.”

“A very beautiful out-of-the-way Park in northern Delaware. Scenery is very nice and the place is generally very quiet. A good place for contemplative activities and to get away from it all being only a mile or two from North Wilmington. This place is so well hidden that most people from Wilmington don't even know it exists and yet it is no more than a 10 minute drive from the Concord Mall which is a hub of activity for northern Delaware. It seems so large and yet it is actually fairly small. I recommend residents of North Wilmington to visit it during the summer.”

“Id love to start at river front. Wilmington side is great. New Castle was smelly. Great views from bridges.”

“Fantastic paved trail following the Chesapeake & Delaware Canal on the north side. 13.2 miles from Delaware City Delaware to the Maryland State line, with an additional 1.8 miles to Chesapeake City, Maryland. Maybe while on the trail you will see a big container ship go by in the Canal....or a train going over the canal on a lift bridge that crosses the path & The C& D Canal.”

“Great area to get out for a walk. Not enough parking at the Refuge, but the Riverfront parking area is nearby. A very popular place now that the Jack Markel Trail is now open, which goes from the city of New Castle to the Wilmington Riverfront.”
