“This was an unexpected find. As we drove through town towards Cambridge and the Bay, we realized that there would be few places to eat until we made it to Cambridge. Since one of us has a blood sugar issue, we needed to find a place to eat and did not really want to back track towards Bridgeville. It was then that we came across this little unassuming place. I am glad we did. The food was excellent. I had the Texas Burger which was one of the day's specials. It was a great burger. Furthermore, the waitstaff was friendly and the service was great. Do not let the unassuming appearance fool you. If you're in the area, you need to stop here!”

“We stopped for some produce on the way to Rehoboth Beach. There are a number of produce stations on the way, but Donnie's seems to be the last one of any size and variety before you hit Route One bedlam. We bought some wonderful fresh tomatoes, excellent yellow corn, cantaloupe, watermelon, and crispy green beans. On a whim we bought an apple pie that proved to be the best we had eaten in years: lots of apple slices, nice cinnamon, and very little goop filler or lard. Overall the best stand we have found between the bridge and the beach, and we have been doing this since 1981.”
