Beautiful waterfront vistas. Plenty of parking and a free public boat ramp.
Great place as usual but one question always remains the same, "does anyone ever check to see that you have a permit "? Of course not, but they should as it would be a ticket Haven for the DENREC boys and girls. Bird list too long to mention but it's a pretty good guess you will always see mute swans and red headed woodpeckers, and in the fall, every waterfowl species you can think of.
Underutilized wonderful park with a launch ramp. Great for kids.
Amazing place to go to kayak, walk your dog, crab or just watch the local wildlife....
Beautiful place, I just wish they did not allow hunting!! Those hunting boxes are awful to see while you are walking through this magical place. Please take them down!!

At the beach for an early season vacation. Beaches were too cold, but the trails were just right for hiking/running. There were some really nice views in this wildlife area, including an observation tower that gets you some nice elevation over the flat terrain. There are a few trails to wander around as well.
