“Where do I start!! I truly do not like this agency with the exception of a few people. So if you need help from this place, call and ask for Ameal Abdullah she’s awesome! My grandmother uses a DFHV program called Transport DC. She had an issue with the program. So I decided to call on her behalf. (Which I’ve done previously but ended up getting rudely dismissed) The second Ameal picked up the phone she was so pleasent and helpful! She actually LISTENED to what my grandmother’s concern was. Ameal stated that she‘s also a “grandma’s baby” and she often helps her own grandmother. She then complimented me for doing the same with my Maw Maw. After hearing what my grandmother was going through Ameal assured us that a “Mr. Jerry” would be able to help. She put my grandmother at ease with her kind voice and optimism. Even referred my Maw Maw to a senior center that her grandmother participates in. Some people here can be really rude and nasty but this woman is a gem! Thanks to Mr. Jerry also!”
