(August 27, 2018, 4:26 pm)5 stars for Titanic buffs. Hidden historic gem. May have inspired “flying” scene in the film. Contemplative. Nice walk along the harbor with park and trees.
(August 7, 2018, 11:06 am)This is a pleasant spot to sit and reflect while looking out over the water, or like many of the locals, cast a line out into the Washington Channel. It is generally quiet, located at the corner of Southwest Waterfront park and Fort McNair, so it is out of the way of the loud DC streets in the area. It is within sight of a police station as well, so relatively safe.
