“I have been a parent at Chamberlain, for the past five years. There have been some good and not so good times, however; that is everywhere you go. I have never seen a group of people that invest so much love and attention to not only the children, but there family's as well. Anytime I my child is in need weather its a ear to listen or a mom or dad at that time the support staff at chamberlain is there and that to me is important. If the student doesn’t feel safe then the child can't learn and that's everywhere you go.”

“We are travelling extensively to south east asia and required numerous visas. I shopped around to get an idea of what these documents would cost and who was best able to work with our time crunch. They delivered!!!!! 6 days before the Visas were promised and were much less costly than other agencies. Thank you so much. Use them without hesitation.”

“I had a wonderful experience with Mary! She did a beautiful job on my waist-length box braids. They were not too tight (I was able to lay on them to sleep that night) and look absolutely perfect. Not to mention that my edges have never been quite as laid as Mary was able to get them! She provided the hair extensions for the box braids as well (1B, 2). They are cash-only but there is an ATM next door to the shop (and also a Bank of America one block away). I have been getting tons of compliments and love my new look! I have found my new go-to braider in DC :)”

They are expert in Stringing and carry most squash strings. they also have Squash grips and crash tapes for your racquet. We restring some racquets with them and they did a fantastique job. In addition they will also pick it up from you. all oround the DMV and the district so no need to go there. Highly recommended!”

“I moved into Highbridge more than two years ago, and this place has always felt like HOME. I lived the most fantastic experience, never feeling short of love, kindness, and FUN. This place will have a special place in my heart. I love the exciting life in Georgetown, and living here made all the difference. The people I met have become friends. The staff, Deborah, Oliver, Adrian, and many who were there before are AMAZING & PROFESSIONAL. Love Them. I will miss EVERYTHING about this place. Thank you for a great experience!!”

“Metropolitan Community Church was the first church built by the gay community in North America. When the community came together and wanted a church space of its own, there were church properties for sale elsewhere in the District, but none of the owners of those other properties would sell them to the gay community for use as a church. The community instead had to build their own building from the ground up, and that is where the Metropolitan Community Church still is today. During the peak of the AIDS epidemic, churches elsewhere in the District refused to hold funerals for deceased gay people. It was very difficult to find a place to be buried as a gay person in the District. The Metropolitan Community Church conducted funeral services for all people, regardless of whether the person was a member of its church. It became known as the only church in the District that would have a funeral service for a deceased gay person in the District.”
