“Modern building with many nooks to study in. Connects with Leavy Center on it's upper floor so there's very convenient. Also extremely colorful and hard to miss. Suitable building for engineering and science.”

“PROUD GRADUATE!!! Graduated with honors! Man.... I can't put into words my experience with the school. I was MORE than pleased with the help, the team effort from SOME of the students. There are certain apples.... but hey... it's what YOU put into it. I was personally not treated as a "nothing". I was treated like a human being. A person. I was supported by the school 100%. I even went off to college and I am still in school pursuing my career as a Aerospace and Planetary Scientist. GO KNIGHTS!”

“I substituted for Ms. Keisha Wood's 4th & 5th grade SPED class yesterday, Nov 13, and I couldn't have been more pleased. Ms. Parker, the assistant to Ms Woods was present and she kept the class moving productively and peacefully. Drew ES is not surrounded by wealthy neighborhoods but these children were polite, well-behaved and diligent. Much credit goes to a caring and effective staff.”

“The facility is small but I do love the people here. They have helped me when I needed it most at the time. Even though my son does not attend this location any longer (do to distance) he sure did love Mr. Jay Jay. The administration is great and helpful. I do recommend.”

“It is hard to put into words what makes this school so special- it certainly is in part the ability to synthesize the mission of the school into concrete practices. The school is a Progressive model in educational theory. Starting in kindergarten they foster intellectual exploration by offering space for risk taking, encouraging creative problem solving, valuing the diversity of perspectives and knowing and working with others to complete task of varying degrees of complexity. There is respect for multiculturalism, diversity and inclusion that is evident from the moment you walk through the doors, and which presents itself throughout the curriculum. They have a Mountain Campus in Luray, Virginia which too is integral to the school’s fundamental belief in outdoor education and environmental justice. The school really ticks off so many important boxes for me- but in truth what is most important is the way my now 3rd grader demonstrates her love of learning, her love of Sheridan and her love of the wonderful friends she has made there. She is genuinely happy at Sheridan, and that is such a sweet relief for me.”
