“My experience with Walgreens in my neighborhood on Southcapital Street sw in dc is pure excellents. I used their photo services, I received my banner with-in 1 hour. Even when I called customers to service, excellent experience. The tech walked me through the website to create the banner, because I was confused. The tech was patient, helpful, and kind. It made me feel important as the customer. With the hour, the Walgreens tech called me back to inform me that my banner was ready. So when I walked in the store I said where is photo center, and the tech said my name, he said he recognized my voice from the Phone call. I just smiled. Excellent service. The banner is amazing. Thanks again Walgreens! MRS Johnson”

“In front of the Embassy of Ireland is one of the smallest memorials in Washington DC. It marks the spot where the vehicle driven by Orlando Letellier came to rest after the bomb which took his life and that of one of his passengers. This happened in the 1970s. At that time I was under the impression Washington DC was one of the safest cities in the world. That was due to having been taught in school about the forts built surrounding the city during the civil war. Afterwards I saw things differently.”

“We found Terry with only one month until our wedding day, and over just a few classes he worked with us to choreograph an elegant, yet achievable first dance for us (we came in with no prior experience). We even changed songs after our first lesson, and he was able to quickly change the style of dance to better match the different pace of song. We had fun with the resulting dance, which impressed our guests and brought out some tears. The space could occasionally get crowded with other classes going on, but it was never an issue. We were happy with everything, and enjoyed our time learning/practicing.”

“Car towed to shop after start failure and all arrangements by phone. Saw good reviews but always a chance of “bad.” Called with diagnosis — confirming mine. Starter needed replacing. Done, in good time, at good price exactly as quoted. Full service, not just body shop. I’ll be back almost certainly just for routine maintenance.”

“Local DC African Americans still support their community church. Parishioners held a dinner event and Women in the bible storytelling ceremony.”

“Every time I visit our DC office I have to visit this place. One of my favorite places in general. Unique, quaint, special. Such a great, independent theater to watch movies. The pop up design definitely makes up for, and adds something to the experience where they lack big multiplex amenities. Can't wait to go back again.”

“This school is amazing! Our now 4 year old daughter is in her second year of attendance at SSMA. She really loves her teachers, classroom, friends and has been thriving well here. She has made great strides and is learning how to read and write. The school is small but safe. Right in the heart of brookland, we love to walk to Turkey Thicket or to the Franciscan Monastery after school and make a stop at the Yes Organic for a quick bite. I love the convenience of having the school, our home and everything I love about brookland within walking distance.”

“I have been a glaucoma patient of Dr. Frank Ashburn Jr. for 29 years. I am grateful to have Dr Ashburn as my Doctor for so many years. I just recently had the cataract surgery done in both eyes by Drs. Frank Ashburn and his son, a bright star, skillfully, and wonderful human being. Having had a previous glaucoma surgery, they performed the least invasive cataract surgery and the results have been amazing. Thank you to the expertise and healing hands of both doctors, my glaucoma and cataract surgery are doing very well. What an accomplishment! Thank you.”

“This was an awesome experience for all ages. Multiple seating options and even an indoor option with AC and a little snack station and bathroom. Nice way to charter to Alexandra and the wharf if you want to avoid paying for multiple parking at different locations from the harbor and it gives you extra ways to explore the area. The staff was amazing and very knowledgeable. We even bumped into the captain he was very funny.”

“I’ve never used a Kiehl’s product in my life. I’ve always used “regular” products, such as Biore or Neutrogena. Someone posted an Instagram story on the men’s product line so I figured I’d check them out. The store is nice and bright and the customer service was good. The men’s line is immediately to the right as you walk in so you don’t have to walk around looking for it. The products are a bit on the expensive side, but I guess they’re supposed to be better. I ended up spending close to $150 for facial wash, moisturizer, and eye cream. Let’s see if it’s worth it. I hope so for $150.”
