He is the best doctor ever. Not only was he able to remove the cancer tumor from my kidney, he was able to save my kidney...I can never thank him enough. He has such great bedside manners. While in the hospital he checked on my quite often to make sure I was okay and showed sicere concern. Unlike many doctors do these days. His staff was also very kind and helpful...kuddos to Debbie for getting all of my things prepared and ready on such short notice. I highly recommend this medical team????
I was referred to Dr. Abouelliel from my Urologist, a good Doctor who had gotten me through 2 bladder cancer burs previously. However, this time, it was Prostate Cancer, and Dr. Abouelliel apparently was better suited to help me. From the first time we met I felt comfortable with him. i requested to see other doctors and investigate other treatments, and he complied very willingly with referrals. After seeing the others, I consulted again with Dr. Aboulleil, and he very frankly stated "look, you can play with these other treatments (Proton therapy, radiation therapy. etc), or I can do surgery and I WILL save your life.... That sold me. I come to learn he is a VERY experienced (despite his youthful appearance) talented DaVinci robotic surgeon, and my results have exceeded ALL expectations. Simply stated, I could not be more pleased. I am still in recovery (16 days post surgery), and have reached landmarks many I know have not reached 2 months post surgery with other doctors...
Dr. Abouelleil is absolutely the best. I was diagnosed with a large mass on the lateral side of my right kidney and that it was cancerous. I was meeting with another urologist in Titusville having a consult to remove the mass on March 16th. When I asked that doctor if he did the surgery robotically he explained that he didn't however he did know of a doctor in Melbourne that he could and would refer me to at least have a consult ( he was not offended and was very understanding). I took the information and I scheduled a consult with Dr. A for March 12th. From the moment I scheduled with Maria and then the moment my husband and I met Dr. Abouelleil I knew I was in great hands. Dr. A reviewed my scans was very confident that he could remove the mass and save my kidney, that my hospital stay would be 1 to 2 days instead of 5 to 7 days and I would only need to take 2 weeks of FMLA instead of 6 weeks. We scheduled the surgery for March 26th. I arrived at the hospital and was a nervous wreck. Dr. A came in pre-op to review everything. His bedside manner was as amazing as he is as he reassured us everything would be okay. He removed the mass! My kidney was spared and I only needed a partial nuphrectomy! He met with my husband when I was in recovery and he eased his fears and let him know the great news! I was released from the hospital on March 27th and I returned to work on April 10th. Not all heroes wear capes! Most wear scrubs! Thank you Dr. Abouelliel!!! I will recommend you to anyone who needs a urologist!
The mass was sent in for biopsy. It was Stage 1 white cell renal cell carcinoma. As of right now I am cancer free! Thank You again!!

We are originally from Iowa and because all of our physicians are in Iowa, we had a need to establish a urologists in the Melbourne area.
We believe things truly happen for a reason and that certain people are put in to your lives for a reason as well. We feel truly blessed that Dr. Abouelleil was one of these special people for myself and my family.
During our visits with Dr. Abouelleil, he was very kind, compassionate, caring, and very informative to my wife and I while explaining the process that would be involved in dealing with my condition, which resulted in me having a prostatectomy.

Just prior to my surgery that morning, Dr. Abouelleil visited with me. I looked up at him and I was at total peace knowing I had the best of the best.
It was very comforting to me to know that I was in his care. His bedside manner is so reassuring and the compassion and care he had for my wife and I was very genuine. We felt his total commitment to us throughout the entire process.
My surgery and recovery has been wonderful and I know it is certainly because of Dr. Abouelleil's
talents and skills.
In conclusion, we are very thankful our path lead us to Dr. Abouelleil and his wonderful staff.

I was first diagnosed with BPH twenty years ago. I am now 71 and my problems progressively got worse, to the point that my quality of life was greatly degraded. After seeing Dr Abouellieil for a few months, he explained the TURP procedure in detail. My only regret is that I should have had it done ten years ago. This Doctor gave me my life back. I highly recommend him.
