“I had an amazing experience this past weekend at Zivel. I was greeted by Destiney and Sage who were incredible with educating us on each service. They speak with enthusiasm when discussing the benefits of each service offered and answered all of our questions. My daughter tried float therapy for her anxiety and stress related to her daily challenges with being autistic. She really enjoyed the peace of floating in silence and felt completely relaxed while in the pod. (Something that is very rare for her.) I tried the infrared sauna and cryotherapy. The sauna was my favorite and surprisingly at 150 degrees, I did not sweat. Cryotherapy was also quite enjoyable, and I can see how it would really benefit a specific muscle target if I were experiencing any pain or fatigue. I will say I did sleep extremely well after using these services. Owners, Heidi and Curtis are dedicated to helping the community reach personal fitness and lifestyle goals. Brevard county is very lucky to have this family owned business aimed at keeping everyone from the average joe to the competitive athlete in top shape/performance. Thank you, Zivel. “We stopped by Kings Park after reading about its biking / walking trails, on line. Kings Park is a 240-acre community / river park located on Merritt Island and is primarily a wetland preserve and a great place for a hike or ride and viewing nature. The park was fairly secluded and had a large parking area and restroom. We road the Island Pioneer Trail which is an easy 2.7-mile out-and-back paved trail, which took us about a half hour, with plenty of stops to take photos. We did not encounter many other people while exploring. The trail winds through the hammocks and between two small lakes. We saw numerous birds and even an alligator. Road this trail again. One of our favorite short, nature, bike trails in the area. It appears they cut some of the scrub away, in areas, and it makes viewing of the surrounding waterways more visible. The park is accessible from both Chase Hammock Road on the North and Hall Road on the South, with plenty of parking and rest rooms at each end.”

They also help with my appointments and transportation needs. While the food could use improvement it is good and varied with many choices. Snacks are always available. As this facility is one of the few that allows smoking I find it a welcome relief from reality. Also, the courtyard is sunny and very pleasant. Therapy staff is wonderful exceeds my expectations.
