St. Johns Preserve by Maronda Homes

My first time buying a home to be built. Signed a contract in March 2022. Sheryl Swist has been very professional, promptly answers my questions, and guiding me though this process. I feel rushed in the beginning, yet we work through it and as a good team. I have heard of horrible stories that buyers get from Maronda agents, but I feel lucky to have Sheryl as my Maronda agent. I do not have to worry about not getting answers from Sheryl. She even promptly replied my email that sent around midnight!!! The issue was solved the next morning. 🙂 I am so far happy with Sheryl. I highly recommend her. I give her 100 stars 🌟 Not 5! 🙂

Update: closed feb 2023. I had a few concerns during the build. Insulations and drywalls in before shingles, and heavy rains with leaks. Told Sheryl. She addressed them with supervisors and shingles put in the next day.

Anyway, I am very happy with the house overall. It’s beautiful… Sheryl was attentive to my concerns. She was amazing. My supervisor Cheyne also did an excellent job. Efrain porta from RMC was also great. Thanks to everyone involved in building my house. 🙂

I was looking for a new home in the FL area to be close to family and decided to look into building with Maronda. From the moment I met Sheryl, I knew I was making the right decision to work with her. She was absolute pleasure to work with and never hesitated to answer any question my realtor or I had via email or text and on days off. She is very professional and personable. During the process she got to know me and what I was looking for and was always available to let me see the house time and time again. She didn’t force any unnecessary upgrades but knew what I was looking for and was able to provide valuable feedback to help me. I was very nervous as this was the first time I am purchasing a house as well as building and she helped eased some of my fears and always answered all the various questions my family or I had. I am happy I made the decision to work with Sheryl during this time and I know this is just the beginning as we will be in contact throughout the entire process. I would recommend Sheryl to anyone looking to build a house with Maronda or even to meet with her if you are unsure.

Let me start by saying that if you are looking to buy a new construction home you MUST go to Sheryl at Maronda Homes. From the very start Sheryl has been nothing short of amazing. She answered all of our questions, even after hours, walked us through every process start to finish, and has just been a pleasure to work with. All Sheryl wants is the best for you and it truly shows! We are moving from NY it FL, which is a huge task, but Sheryl has made it seamless and extremely enjoyable. I cannot recommend Sheryl enough!! After deciding between developers, we have no doubt in our minds that we chose the right one because of Sheryl!

Being a first time homeowner, starting and going through this process has been a plethora of emotions but Sheryl has been very helpful and easy to reach. She's been very attentive to any questions or concerns of mine. I'm currently about a month or so away from closing and I've yet to have a question or situation that neither Sheryl or anyone in the office has not been able to handle or solve. For anyone wanting to or curious about buying a home in this new community with this staff, I highly recommend you do!
