Animal Specialty & Emergency Hospital

My geriatric dog got hold of a bunch of chocolate. They took her back immediately. Had to keep her overnight, and the staff was very kind and reassuring. (She's ok!) The bill ended up being less than I paid, so I received a refund the following week. Also, Dr. Clemons noticed her arthritis and offered to help with pain control (I was already addressing this with my regular vet, but I appreciated his offer to help!). I recently had one of my cats at the Eau Gallie emergency vet and the doctor was abrasive and arrogant, so I was especially pleased with our visit here. Hopefully we won't need them again, but if we do, we'll be back!

Dr Smith and his staff are wonderful! They are kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. Their clinic is clean and I have hardly ever waited for my appointment. Great service!!!!!

Had a great experience with this business the other day. My dog got a marrow bone stuck over here lower canines the other day. I tried numerous things to remove it but could not. My dog was stressing out. Went to my normal vet, they had just closed and no one was there. So I drove over to this clinic. Took my dog in and started to fill out the paperwork. They could tell she was stressed because of the bone being stuck, so they took her back before I was done with the paperwork. Just as I was finishing up with the paperwork, they cam back out with my girl. The bone was off and they said it fell off while they we putting her in a cage. They kidded that I owed them $100 but there was no charge and I thanked them numerous times and left. I felt I had to share what a caring group of people work here. They put the health and concern for my dog above everything else. I highly recommend if you need a emergency clinic, this is the place to go.

What my evening that started like the most horrible nightmare for me, my roommate and my 7 year old ragdoll who hadn't been himself all day. It was late in the evening when I had lifted Harley up to one of many favorite sinks for "a sink drink". He refused and I could see terror in his eyes. He knew he was in trouble. After looking him over, I saw a piece of thread from my pin cushion I had used earlier in the week for a sewing project but the needle wasn't attached and I automatically felt 100% certain that needle was lodged somewhere in his throat. I immediately got on the computer and found the Animal Specialty & Emergency Hospital and got him there as quick as I could. This outstanding staff of professionals took over and had removed the needle within 30 minutes and we were back home just after midnight. Today, my bouncing boy ragdoll is back to his usual self. To anyone needing the kind of help Harley received last night, keep in mind this team of wonderful doctors, vet techs, clerical and anyone I may have not mentioned. I can't thank you enough for all the help you gave my exceptionally loved Harley!
