I recently made a call to Senior Helpers for assistance with my 94 year young mother. She had recently fallen and with her dementia, it now appears she will need more care than my family can provide. I met with Marc Kaplan who came out to the house to evaluate her for Senior Helper Home Care services. After discussing all the options, we both can to the conclusion that my mother needed 24/7 care, more in line with a nursing home environment. Marc thanked me for considering Senior Helpers and then made a phone call and put me in touch with a wonderful group of folks who are helping to get my mom into a nursing home facility. Although we were not able to use the wonderful services that Senior Helpers provide, it did not stop Marc from reaching out to others in the industry that could provide the appropriate level of care. This kind of customer service and desire to help others even though there is no profit in it for their company, is rare indeed. I may still have an opportunity to use their services and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of help with their senior parent.
