It’s natural Florida, get out and go explore in all the parks, refuges conservations as possible.
We just love going out there and hiking! You can see wildlife in it's natural environment! We've seen too many alligators to count, otters, non-poisonous snakes, and tons of migratory birds
I posted a picture and videos of an Alligator Snapping Turtle. Normally you never ever mess with these turtles. They are extremely dangerous. You will lose your fingers or possibly your entire hand. This one was in the middle of Highway 50. I only intervened to keep it from getting hit by a car. The pic and video are after I got him to the side of the road. I was trying to get him on the otherside of the guardrail. Thats where the wetlands are.
Beautiful Marsh, not open to the public.
Animals are more human than humans themselves. Critters much smaller than us can survive in much harsher conditions and still find happiness, that is the one lesson to take away from parks and nature.
Have you ever seen a depressed bird? If you have it has likely suffered a loss. Once it is done grieving it does no longer grieve but moves forward.
