“It was a small park nice for a walk. Walking trail was partially shaded. Many people at the park during weekends. The picnic shelter was not well maintained when I was there and the area around the shelter also had trash on the floor. Probably not a place to come for big gatherings and events, but a stroll around the park or a day at the playground would be good.”

“Ulumay Wildlife Sanctuary in Merritt Island is a beautiful hidden gem. There are miles of waterway with thousands of fishing spots. There is also a nice hiking trail, however it is hit or miss if the trail will be maintained. All in all Ulamay is a great place to spend a few hours or even the day exploring.”

“We used the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial to take care of my father's memorial service and handling of remains, etc. From start to finish these folks were top notch, kind, wonderful people. The passing of my father was a very difficult time for us, and from the moment he passed, to all the paper work, to the setting up of the service and execution of the service, all the details involved, they were amazing. The director Paul Hope is so very kind and efficient along with his whole staff. They are truly amazing during this extremely difficult time. Not to mention the "hills" in the back of the park and the tortoises wandering around all over the place. The fact that it's covered up instantly lands it the top three parks in the area for me. “The playground was nice but I prefer when they are fenced to keep kids from running into the parking lot, but there weren't too many cars coming and going. I definitely want to walk the boardwalk trail next time I visit. The pavilion and tables underneath are wonderfully maintained and look perfect for a group outing or picnic.”

“I give this a 5 star rating because if how peaceful and beautiful the park is. There is a lot of parking and bathrooms. The lake view is very nice and relaxing. There is a 1.1 mil paved trail which is linked to the park with another nice trail. The park also has two active geocaches.”
