“We chose Parkway Christian Schools to educate our 2 children after researching the schools in our area. Before deciding on private education, we sent our oldest to kindergarten at our public school. It was decided by the end of that year we needed to find a place that was better suited for our family values as well as offering a good well-rounded education. Parkway Christian Schools fit every criteria. We have been at the school now for 5 years. Both kids are doing very well. Looking ahead to middle school, we are confident that our oldest will get the skills needed to enter honors classes in high school. I'm so thankful we have a small school with teachers and faculty who know our family and care about what they are teaching these kids. It is now 4 years later and our oldest is in high school. Our second child is in Parkway's middle school. A lot has happened in the last four years! The school continues to be a wonderful place to have our family. The oldest has done very well in high school, in large part because Parkway educated her with a strong academic foundation rooted in an amazing Christian environment. My son is enjoying middle school and is finding the same success as his sister has. We continue to be overwhelming happy with our decision to stay at Parkway. This will be our 10th year as a member of the Parkway Family. Just amazing!”

“Rick was absolutely amazing, this venue is beautiful and between him and Willie they made sure to accommodate and help with anything that we needed. We even forgot my bouquet at the estate and they made me a stand in for the ceremony. They really went above and beyond what was expected. All of our guests had such an amazing time and the weather turned out beautifully. One great thing is you have up to 48 hours prior to the wedding to decide if you want to tent the main dining area, which is very beneficial for a Florida wedding. We went ahead and tented anyway with beautiful chandelier lighting just in case since the weather was going back and forth. Honestly the tent gave it more of a romantic ambiance for dinner which I really loved. At night with the fire pits, tiki torches and lights you really feel like you are in a tropical oasis. I highly recommend this venue, rick and willie as your DJ.”

“Best place for your dog to go to daycare.! I cannot thank these guys enough for their services. Not only their facility is beyond beautiful but also the staff is amazing. Shot out to Zoya and Bruna to take care of Sunny. Jason in the front desk is beyond helpful and amazing ! I hope the resort will do some events with owners and pets to have fun together sometimes. I refer this place to all my friends who have dogs and are looking for something for them when they cannot take care of their dogs. This is the place to go!”

“I am now a member of Flamingo Gardens which means that I must stop by the Nursery on my way home, mostly to have a lunch of the best Louisiana Barbecue this side of that state! Barry is the owner, and had his cooker shipped directly to him here so he could serve up the best beef brisket I have ever had. Skip the review that talked of a soggy bun - what can you expect when you have pulled pork so tender and yet dripping with natural juices! If you call ahead, Barry will wrap you up a chunk of beef brisket with the juices to take home for dinner as well.”

“Took Tyler’s bonsai workshop today. I’ve always loved his bonsai area of the nursery and wanted to take the class before purchasing and owning a bonsai tree. Even before the class, Tyler was open to sharing his passion and knowledge of this wonderful art form in such a genuinely caring way. An extremely knowledgeable, patient, and easygoing person, Tyler by far has the best stock of bonsai trees in Florida as well as being a fantastic teacher who will share everything he knows about his wonderful trees. “OK folks if you are looking for real BBQ not that rolled out the back want a be BBQ you get from some franchised place, than you need to get off your back side and head on over to Barnes Brothers in the Flamingo Nursery. This is BBQ the way it was meant to be, full of flavor that makes you know you are eating the real thing. If you must use a sauce they have some great choices. Simply put there is Barnes Brothers then there is everyone else.”
