“I live in Port Lauderdale. I love this Beach. I keep a beach chair and flip flops in my car... When the weather is nicer I still here for an hour or two. It's beautiful, quiet, relaxing. Inexpensive street parking is closer to the beach.”

“I have been to the Windjammer four or five times over the past 15 years. It's a great balance between nice and affordable. The rooms are comfortable and have all the proper amenities without going beyond necessity and into the extravagance stage. It's really all about the ocean and community and this resort is right there. They really seem fully understand that guests want to be out on the beach, eating at the local restaurants, or relaxing in and around the pool. The property is clean and well taken care of and particular attention is paid to the outdoor areas, which are really nice. It's not a large property, which is all the better for my style — quiet, relaxed, and splashes of fun (literally and figuratively). We'll keep coming back. I guess that's the true test of a resort, right?”

“I enjoyed the experience. I only visited once. It was a Sunday around 1:15 pm. The place at first seemed packed with only a few seating inside and outside. Later, I realized it was just the hostess being placed within a high traffic area of the restaurant. I sat outside and enjoyed the BEAUTIFUL view of the beach/ocean while I dined. Food comes out at a reasonable time. I ordered an burger and fries with tea. The beef and fries is on par with non-franchised burgers. The staff was friendly. I found the bathroom to be a wee bit small. When I entered, two ladies were already waiting in line for stalls to become available. The bathroom was clean. They have many food dishes to choose from. All looked delicious as being brought to tables. A person can walk from the restaurant to directly onto the beach. 4 stars only because of the bathroom wait.”

“This was our second time staying at Courtyard Villa. We did have some complications with our rooms due to an error with the reservation, but the staff/manager accommodated us as best as they could. I'll confirm sooner next time and make sure to get confirmation emails. However, the hotel itself is a gem. You simply cannot beat the price for the amazing location to the beach and Commercial Drive. The rooms are literally steps from the beach. The pool/hot tub in the courtyard is perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The local bars and restaurants in Lauderdale by the Sea are fantastic and very reasonably priced. We love it every time we visit. Also, the housekeeper Ms. V is awesome - so personable and makes you feel at home. While the hotel is dated, it's very clean and comfortable. I'll definitely be back, many times to come. Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in LBTS.”

“I showed up to Meridian broken and full of hate, completely hopeless with it being close to my 20th treatment center. I received such specialized unique kind of care it really is hard to put into words. The owner Hotse carefully picks each and every one of his employees whom are bursting with love, kindness, compassion, acceptance and most importantly professionalism. I wish there was anything me or my family could every do to repay the life long skills I acquired to show my gratitude. All I can do is stay clean and pay it forward. Take it from someone who’s struggled with a 15yr drug habit if you or a loved one needs help with drugs and or mental health this is the a top notch facility.”

“La Cucina exemplifies how Italian should taste. The pasta is homemade, the bread freshly baked. The buttery sage sauce was so good, I could have bathed in it. The service was informative with specials, pleasant and efficient. You value fiends might scoff you don't get two pounds of dinner generating a week of leftovers. Being a value fiend myself, the quality was so high, the sauce so rich, I was very full on 9 forkfuls and bread. They don't have the variety typical of most Italian places. The menu is smaller. However, the quality is sky high, and you'll find yourself not caring - wow, try it.”
