(February 21, 2019, 8:15 pm)The decor is comfortable and eclectic. Feels like home. The service was personal and very good. Excellent Curry chicken West Indian Style and roast. The milanesa a caballo was a huge steak breaded, fried and topped with cheese and fried eggs...sooo good.
Excellent food from Venezuela.

(December 29, 2018, 9:40 am)Very nice Venezuelan homestyle food restaurant, super friendly atmosphere tended by the owners, they really make you feel welcomed. The food is very good, nothing pretentious, just truly tasty homestyle food that will leave you with a smile on your face. You can eat in or take out. They have take out fridges were you can walk in grab what you want and go, super convenient. Don't miss this hidden gem.
(December 20, 2018, 8:29 pm)This place is the best or probably the only homemade food restaurant in this area. We had plans to go out to one of those fancy restaurants to celebrate our anniversary but it was raining hard so we changed plans and ordered over the phone for pick up. I’m glad we ended here instead. Exquisite food! Thanks Margarita for making us feel like family.
(October 26, 2018, 11:57 am)My wife and I visited for the first time with our newborn just two weeks ago. La Casserola was the first restaurant we visited after moving to South Florida from the Northeast. We were the only non-Spanish speakers, but the waiter, chef, and owner treated us so well. The chef sent a free dessert for us and an extra free order of cheese sticks before we left. The owner even came to show us pictures of her family in Caracas from 1906. Beautiful people, excellent food at a good price, and a charming atmosphere. We will go back again many times.
