“A boardwalk takes you around the nature preserve. You can see many birds and turtles as you walk around. Canoe rentals are available at set times. No admission - plenty of parking. This area is as peaceful as you will find in urban America. The first hour I was there I was alone with nature. This is the road less travelled. The downside is the lack of animals that I witnessed. Children will be bored, but a true nature lover will find find peace and tranquility.”

“Gas station has very high (by about 15-20 cents) gas prices - always. If u are a cigarette smoker they are also priced pretty high. Good convenience store with fair prices and pretty extensive selection. Cafe that is there is quite good, especially for a gas station spot. If u are way out west, this is one of only quick-stop stores around the area. *** They also offer racing and aviation fuels for high performance cars and airboats. ”
