(October 13, 2018, 5:00 pm)Located past I-75 along Sheridan St., this library looked like a school campus, but as I entered the building, I was amazed to see how immense, clean, and organized the library really was. It's also next to a Charter school and Broward College.
On the ground floor, you can find the check-out desk; a section with audio books, CDs, DVDs, Best Sellers, Teen area, and Youth Service area. There are many computers and table seating to accommodate the parents and their kid(s). The second floor is much larger with fiction/non-fiction books, magazines/newspapers, biographies, reference books, a computer center, and the information reference desk. There are over twenty computers for patrons to use, as well as more than enough table seating and cubicles. The only bad thing I found out was that on the second floor, I don't get any kind of reception on my cell phone until I go downstairs.
Though the library was partially full of adults and children of all ages, it was still fairly quiet. The staff is friendly, helpful, and are willing to answer any questions you might have. Southwest Regional library provides a tranquil atmosphere to relax, network, and work on assignments.
(August 12, 2018, 6:23 pm)Amazing place with tons of activities for the different age groups. Toys, and play area for toddlers as well. Best library I've been to ever.
