Nepenthe Charter Sailing

We had a blast with Captain Tom! If you are looking for a great sunset sailing experience coming into the lights of downtown Jax, this is the way to do it! Thanks Tom!

We really need to be able to add more than 5 stars here! Captain Tom is the best! A great and patient teacher, extremely knowledgable about all things boating, and very confidence inspiring. He spent an entire day with the Admiral and I and gave us both a wealth of information covering navigation, docking (including how to spring a 39,000 lb trawler off of a dock when she's being pushed against the dock without so much as a squeak or scratch!), radio communication, knot tying, and so much more! If you're a first time boat owner, he's your man! To top all, we hadn't just gained knowledge on all the things mentioned above, but also a good friend. Thanks Tom!

What an amazing day of sailing we just had with Nepenthe Charter Sailng. From start to end, Captain Tom made this whole experience a blast. Booking was simple and on arrival, we were welcomed aboard and made to feel right at home!
My son, who is 10, has autism. Tom was incredibly patient and quickly enlisted his help in hoisting the sails, steering, and even taught him to tie some knots!
The 4 hours on St. John’s River were so relaxing and my only complaint was that it all went too fast!
We will definitely sail with Tom again and I would recommend this charter to anyone!!

We went for an evening charter on the Nepenthe and had the absolute best time. The boat itself is very impressive and Tom, the captain, was an amazing sailer. We cruised the river for several hours and enjoyed smooth ride. After the ride Tom let us stay aboard while anchored and enjoy the view of the beautiful sunset. We cannot wait to go for another ride soon. Cannot recommend enough.
