When we first moved to the Green Cove area, the nearest fully manned fire station was at least 5 miles away. The nearest station to us was FS24 and though a half mile away, was volunteer and not manned. So it was a good thing for the neighborhood when the powers that be in Clay County, decided to make 24 fully manned. The staff at this station are top notch. Always super on the few times we've needed help.
