(January 23, 2022, 10:18 pm)Belmore state forest is a hidden gem tucked away out in green cove springs.
It is not a very large state forest but what it lacks in square footage it certainly makes up for in its beauty.
I really enjoyed taking a cruise through the woods here and checking the place out. There's even a neat little place to have a picnic here but please take your trash with you when you go...
(July 22, 2020, 8:24 am)Quiet, out of the way and beautiful. Lots of well maintained roads for easy motoring. No facilities. The rural drive to even get here was fun and somewhat adventurous down several dirt roads. It's very nice to visit a place that's not completely overwhelmed with people and development. Looking forward to bicycling and hiking here after the summer heat has abated.
