“If I could give Dr. Brown and his staff TEN STARS I would! Dr. Brown and his staff are amazing!! They are compassionate, caring, and honest. They have helped our dog Honey through her battle with glaucoma. I am so grateful for the expert care we have received and would encourage any pet owner whose pet requires ophthalmologic care to contact this office. You will get nothing but the best quality of care for your fur baby.”

“Dr Aragon did surgery on my dog the next day. They made sure she was comfortable and well taken care of. She's like my kid. Only the best for her. Told me up front the price, and that was it. They didn't have any hidden fees. We love them and you would too. Safe was great helping me under stand anything i was unsure about. Yvonne Z”

“Dr. Sands and her team are phenomenal. We have been going to Sandy Paws since it was at the old location with the previous owner. Dr. Sands is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, honest, and truly cares about the well being of our dogs. Even if they’re completely booked, they’ll always find a spot to see us, if needed. She has texted me personally when my dog had to be transferred to BluePearl to check in on him, and has kept my dogs at her house when they needed extra around-the-clock care. Can’t say enough about Sandy Paws and my appreciation for their entire staff! Despite hating the vet, even my the dogs love her!”

“So, it's been four years since my previous review and a lot of things have changed. Jenkins is currently the only veterinarian working here. It can sometimes practically resemble a methadone clinic now, with wait times often exceeding four hours even if you've signed in dead first. Jenkins is so busy, she does surgeries all day long and sees our pets for health visits in-between those surgeries. I've gotten worried that she might be so busy she's beginning to neglect her loyal patients or worse, misdiagnosing because too much is on her mind. Don't get me wrong, they love the animals and treat them great! It's even still a GREAT vet for your price, but don't expect anything to change here. With the horde of people who show up, they probably get plenty of money, so they likely won't change how they operate just for us. ------- How it works - Get there as early as possible, seriously. Six thirty or so, sign in on your respective sheet when it is put out (usually somewhere around 6:45 to 7:30). They open at 8:00am and begin calling surgeries first. If you're first to be seen for an office visit, you'll likely be called around 8:15 to 9:15. You'll then tell them what you're there for and will go back to waiting. Usually in the next ten to thirty minutes you'll actually be called back with your animal. Though it could take another forty-five minutes to an hour. You'll then likely leave around 10:00 or 10:45 ------- Pros: One Doctor with decades of experience, kind vet technicians, fair priced, free water for waiting animals, and extended waiting area with loudspeaker for calls. Cons: Really Long Waits, no appointments, often crowded beyond belief. Surgery sign-ins often have to wade through the sea of office visitors.”

“FANTASTIC service! Staff is very caring and helpful. I went to these guys when I had to help my Dachshund cross Rainbow Bridge and they showed great sympathy and were very accommodating for this almost hysterical fur mommy. I HIGHLY recommend this facility!”

“They were quick to intake my dog Hippo who was transferred from VCA Garden City. It socks that only one person can go in with the animal, but it's OK. Waited in the exam room for 3 min, and Dr. Wheat was in to see me about my dogs allergies. She prescribed some meds that would help with his condition and was really gentle with the shot she administered. And Hippo liked her, so that's a plus. She explained everything to me and got me out in less that 30min. Thanks Dr. Wheat!”
