  I feel obligated to post a shoutout to this Bernina dealer, even though I must admit to never having actually set foot inside the store. My review is the result of a very positive phone contact experience. When I called to inquire about servicing my wife's Bernina sewing machine, and without me directly asking for any "help", the lady who answered the call advised me of an idiosyncrasy of some Bernina electronic sewing machines wherein a machine that has been stored for a long period of time can appear to be "dead" when initially turned on. But if you leave the machine plugged-in and turned on, it will slowly (over 1+ hours) come back to life. Apparently, their electronics goes through a long drawn initialization/recharging process. This would have never have occurred to me, and I am an electrical engineer! Her unpaid/unsolicited tip saved me the cost of a needless service call; or worse, thrashing a perfectly good sewing machine because we thought it was broke and nobody wants to accept a donation of a sewing machine that does not work.

  A wonderful shop for up scale fabrics. I live in Pittsburgh but when traveling south I always make it a point to stop in for fabric! They Specialize in quilting and some day I
  Will learn that. Great customer service. Thank you for supplying wonderful fabrics for all my needs!

  Paula’s has such a great selection of fabric ! Rows and rows of variety. Amy (I believe is her name) is so friendly and attentive. She’s knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to help. Only down side are the prices. They are VERY expensive. A yard of fabric is almost $15. They do offer a punch card with a $25 reward but still very pricey.
