My husband and I wanted to thank Victoria and Buffy for all the help they gave us. They were so professional, responsive and knowledgeable. Victoria took the time to show us every property and couldn’t do enough for us. Buffy was more than accommodating, sincere and very tenant oriented.

We basically chose Fort Family because of Victoria and Buffy. They are both very sincere and genuine. Most of all they made us feel right at home with their personal touch.

Thanks again for helping us make the right choice. Fort Family is very fortunate to have these two caring members on their team!

This review is meant for those who are considering making Alaqua their next home. Like you, I too have read many reviews from several apartment complexes before making my own decision on where to live. By sharing my story and experiences so far, I hope you develop the same impression that I have been left with by this community: Fort Family Investments truly cares about the happiness of their tenants and the quality of their rental communities.
My wife and I moved in about two weeks ago, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this community, and the Fort Family Investment (FFI) company as a whole. Prior to move-in, we toured several of the FFI rental complexes in the Flagler Center area and we were welcomed by beautiful communities and friendly staff (Trent, Buffy, Chris, and Olivia to name just a few). Alaqua was the community that spoke to us and matched what we were looking for in a rental property – a quiet environment, elegant and spacious apartment units, a beautiful pool, and an upgraded 24-hour accessible gym. We were sold just days after touring Alaqua!
By the time we were ready to put in an application, I was told the price had increased substantially on the particular unit I was interested in – a promotion that had been running on it had just expired the day before. After speaking with a few representatives of the Fort Family company, I was put in touch with the Director of Sales where I expressed my desire to live in this community and how I would only be able to for the price I was originally quoted. She made a call to Alaqua, the promotion was honored, and my wife and I have been happily living in our new home since. Those modern-day heroes who go to great lengths to get something done for you and provide exceptional customer service are hard to find these days, but not at Alaqua and not within FFI.
Alaqua has many charms that my wife and I are still discovering, and we look forward to keeping this our home for years to come!

We have been living in Alaqua for 2 years now. We have absolutely loved living here. All the staff is super friendly and will help out however they can.
Let me take a pause for the maintenance team, we have only had 3 request in our 2 years here, but they are fast, friendly and professionals in their fields.

I am a senior attending Flagler college in saint Augustine. I have been in and out of 4 different apartment complex's through out college and Alaqua is by FAR the best. I am a bartender/server and I am majoring in business so I know all about customer service, and the customer service here could not be better. Travis, Camy, and the rest of the staff go above and beyond with being friendly and helpful. Most apartment complex workers are just going to be nice to you when they want your money BUT at Alaqua everyone is super nice all the time. One of the best perks is they love animals. I have a collie named sparky and in the past it was impossible to find an apartment that would allow a dog his size. I had to buy a fake service dog ID on the internet just to get him into my last apartment! However at Alaqua they treat sparky like royalty! Every time I walk him past the office he tries dragging me in to get a treat and praised by everyone. The apartments themselves are beautiful super high ceilings and great appliances. Also the complex itself is kept very clean power washing is done regularly. The pool is gorgeous, bbq grilles are great I use them all the time, and all my friends still cant believe there is a mini dog park in the complex!
