She took her time to explain everything to me in detail. I did not feel rushed at all. I have been getting so much run around since my issue began from ER to my primary care, but Dr. Cortes was the only provider that actually seemed to care and is willing to take the steps to resolve my issue rather than just refer me out and tell me this is not my specialty. “Nexstep Coastal Spin and Pain Center is a wonderful practice of caring nurses, physicians and other healthcare professionals. I was introduced to them by a friend, and have been so pleased with my experiences there that I had to write a quick review. I have been seeing them for months now, and every appointment has been a pleasure. They are always on time and take their practice very seriously. They treat you as a patient, not a number and you can feel how much they truly do care. I know it's difficult to find a good medical practice, but you can be assured this is truly one of the genuinely good ones. They are not a pill mill, so if that is what you are looking for, look elsewhere. That is not to say they don't prescribe medication if you need it, but they never overprescribe and they check and count your pills at every appointment. This may seem like an intrusion, but it is in their and your best interest that they keep track of how you are doing with following the dosage instructions. If you need a dose increase, call and ask...don't just take more. Also, if you are there for their buprenorphine/Suboxone treatment, you will be urine tested every time, so please don't go there if you are not willing to play by the rules. They are only there to help you, not enable you to make bad decisions. If you do make a mistake, be honest with them and most likely they will give you another chance because they know no one is perfect, especially when it comes to addiction. If you are looking for a high quality healthcare practice, this may be just the one for you...I know it is for me and many of my friends whom I recommended them to in the past. Regards, Greg”

“Our OB referred us here and after reading the reviews we were kind of terrified. I know people are often more inclined to write reviews if they've had a bad experience so I decided then that I'd write a review based on our experience regardless of how it went so here I am. Long story short, this didn't seem like the same place the negative reviews here were describing, AT ALL. Our appointment was at 8:30 and my wife was taken back for her initial consult at 8:20. By 8:40 we were both in with the ultrasound tech, who was extremely friendly and knowledgable. Then we met the doctor who was great, even went out of his way to make sure he was pronouncing my wife's name right. We were done by 9:20. Fast, friendly, professional service, from the front desk to the medical staff. Either they've made some major changes based on the feedback, or these complaints were isolated incidents. Either way, don't be nervous to go to here. It was actually a pleasure for us and we're excited for the follow up next month.”

“Dr. Chithriki was awesome! He was my OB for my pregnancy. He was caring, empathetic, respectful, and professional. He was down to earth and really cared about helping me. My birth experience was better than I ever imagined thanks to Dr. Chithriki, mainly because he listened and cared, not to mention that he is knowledgeable and experienced. His staff was very sweet each and every time I went to the office. Overall, I recommend Dr. Chithriki and staff 100 percent without hesitation. For any future pregnancies I pray to God he is still within driving distance because he is the only OB I would like to see. I will drive hours to see him, because he s worth it!
