Cross Care Center

I had been looking for the perfect place to put my mom and from the first phone call I knew Cross Care was the place! I was able to go in a tour the day after I called. Within a week, my mom had a bed. The staff is so hard working! My mom is so happy and I know I have found the perfect place for her! I highly recommend if you are needing a place to put your loved one! You can be rest assured that they will get the best care!

Caring, knowledgeable staff with low turnover. I learned the hard way not to be seduced by a fancy chandelier and piano in the lobby...yes Cross Care is short on frills but they have what counts, which is a staff that is there year after year so they really know the residents and can tell when something changes. We had a wonderful experience with them for four years, until our mom passed. I would recommend them above any other facility in Jacksonville, including much more expensive options, and I know that from experience.

We had to put a loved one in a long term facility at the age of 73. Very hard to grasp.
After a long search and tons of prayers Cross Care was our choice. The offices to the aids have been nothing short of awesome! Caring about our needs as well as our loved one.
When Michael hit the panhandle this year with a vengeance. Those people in long term facilities had nothing. I witnessed Cross Cares staff open there doors and hearts to help. They filled every available bed with sick people. Cots in the Chapel for staff members in need. Cared medically for these people but way beyond that. Spending time with them-finding loved ones for them even washing staffs cloths at night at there homes!
These people really care about there residents with dignity and grace. We are grateful and blessed to have each of you in our life’s..... Thank you. The Mattson Family
