(February 20, 2020, 10:58 pm)This quaint little joint has to be one of the coolest breakfast-only spots that I’ve ever visited. Aside from the food, which I’ll get to, it’s chock full of antiques that lend the feeling of having stepped into a time machine.
I’m glad that they only do breakfast, because they do it perfectly. Nothing fancy here—just darn good breakfast. I had a bacon meal, which came with toast, grits, two eggs, and two strips of bacon for six bucks. Because it was my first visit, I had to try the namesake “breakfast in a cup.” I had the salmon, which was beneath an egg and on top of cheese and a healthy helping of grits. Everyone was more than pleasant, even the other restaurant-goers. The food was delicious and I’ll definitely be back!
(August 12, 2019, 6:17 pm)2015 I lived within walking distance of Tommy's breakfast. I felt very welcome even when I sat outside with my cats. The food is nutritious and low priced. The breakfast in a cup is very convenient to transport. It is a nice little neighborhood place to visit just when you are feeling down.
(April 11, 2019, 8:45 am)Quaint breakfast spot. There's a lot of antiques, piano and a pool table to enjoy. Food is not expensive and it is delicious!!!
(November 27, 2018, 1:28 pm)Great cheep food got a whole breakfast in a cup for $3. Eggs, bacon, grits and cheese. yum. Fairly quick service but it is super busy every morning. Worth the wait.
