“This quaint little joint has to be one of the coolest breakfast-only spots that I’ve ever visited. Aside from the food, which I’ll get to, it’s chock full of antiques that lend the feeling of having stepped into a time machine. I’m glad that they only do breakfast, because they do it perfectly. Nothing fancy here—just darn good breakfast. I had a bacon meal, which came with toast, grits, two eggs, and two strips of bacon for six bucks. Because it was my first visit, I had to try the namesake “breakfast in a cup.” I had the salmon, which was beneath an egg and on top of cheese and a healthy helping of grits. Everyone was more than pleasant, even the other restaurant-goers. The food was delicious and I’ll definitely be back!”
