“My Dad was admitted to Avante after leaving the hospital. At this time he was very ill and needed 24/7 care. I was a bit hesitant to send him here after reading the reviews online. I will say the facility definitely could use updating, but the staff was amazing. Everyone of the staff members who attended to my Dad went above and beyond to make sure he was cared for and comfortable. Staff members gave me their mobile numbers to call them if we needed anything or felt that my Dad was not being taken care of the way we expected. I was there everyday, sometimes 2x per day and I witnessed the the staff was caring and compassionate to all residents.”

“Dr. Michelle Mendez is a walking wealth of current medical information integrating ever-changing medical knowledge with the tried tested and proven of the old paths. She considers the mental and physical wellbeing of the patient as a whole person and not a part. After a strong recommendation from my Oncologist, she took over my health care after cancer in helping me deal with a dad who had dementia for 7 years while having to rebuild my body from the effects of cancer and radiation. When we first began seeing her, she was with a group that was mis-managed from billing to staff procedures. Her hands were tied as we viewed it. She has now separated from that group and has set her practice up with up-to-date medical information as well as working with the patient on how to manage their health with current knowledge of today. I would highly recommend Dr. Mendez to anyone wishing to choose a physician.”

“We had to bring our Oliver here because he got into Mole poisoning. From the from desk to the Vet our experience with them was amazing. They were all very caring and compassionate. We had to leave our baby boy overnight which is scary but they made us feel comfortable leaving him with them. He was very well taken care of. Our overall experience was phenomenal.
