Huey Magoo's Chicken Tenders - Brooksville

Our food was served hot and was delicious. My husband had the breaded tenders and I had the grilled. My grilled tenders were seasoned perfect and so moist! My husband the fried chicken guy tried my grilled chicken and said that's what he will get next time. That is really saying something! We will be back soon!

I gave this place 2 stars from the get go, honestly not even going here in the 1st place, just because they do not have shakes on their menu 😔
Which is a big deal for me. That's why Taco Bell is not my all time fast food restaurant. They could be, but again...no shakes.

However, my wife dragged me here today. And being the old geezer that I am, I forgot about this review.
Anyway, I ordered the simple chicken sandwich with fries, not having any high expectations.
I was totally caught off guard on how good this meal was. It was just a chicken sandwich and crinkle fries. But man, it was really good! The sandwich has 3 large strips of what they call the "fillet mignon" of the chicken.
Well that was correct 💯
And the spices and sauce on the chicken, AND the spices on the fries🍟was delicious 😋
I will have to try the Cole slaw next time
For sure I give this $9.99 meal a 10 out of 10 for a great value delicious meal.
The atmosphere was typical, and the men's bathroom was out of order.
Everything was clean, and the acodoment counter was well stocked.
The cashier was fine. Not friendly or unfriendly,but at least efficient.
My wife's chicken salad looked too good with solid greens, and the same chicken with a different sauce of course.
Anyway, do I recommend this little chicken joint?

And I'm sorry Huey Magoo's for the bad rating without even actually trying the food 1st.
But I still don't like the fact that there are no shakes available 😔

I've been on a chicken chick lately I happen to see this as I drove by and I drove back got a five piece fried chicken tender and a five-piece grilled chicken tender and I will tell you it is amazing it's a new spot for me that I will use for a while, they are not on GrubHub though unfortunately. When I was leaving I noticed they had banana pudding and I had wished I had purchased it I will get it next time, on a side note the lemonade was so sweet I actually had to mix it with Sprite

My family and I enjoyed the food very much. All of our food was very fresh and hot. All of our meals tasted great. The service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and when not busy with customers, I noticed all of staff keeping busy by cleaning. Which leads me to my next point this location was very clean and I enjoyed eating my meal here.

To give my wife’s two pennies, she said she enjoys the chicken at Chick-fil-A better, but Magoos is definitely a step up from KFC or Popeyes .
