(November 24, 2021, 8:23 am)I am not much for writing reviews but I had to sit down and talk about Tim (Lead Tech) for Pinch a Penny. He has been personally watching over my pool for 4 years. I have never called him without an answer. He has dropped what he was doing on a Sunday to come service my pool before an Air B and B party was scheduled and did it with a smile. This guy is pound for pound the best and most knowledgeable pool person I have met.
Last night 11/23/21, I called Tim on Monday with a broken pool heater issue and he "as usual" jumped into action. This guy calls the Hayward rep to get a customer heater in two days delivered to his shop and installed it hours later. This not only saved my Air B and B customer but it further shows that these folks take customer service serious. I run a company of 200+ employees and wish I had a guy like Tim.
If you read this review and don't use these folks, you will be throwing the dice on service. Mark Edge (Riverview)
(July 2, 2018, 1:34 pm)I like this specific location bc the owners are so nice and authentic! I go here to get whatever I need for my pool. I live closer to the one on 60 in brandon but would rather go here bc they take the time to teach you and show you what you need. I recommend this specific store! Great experience every time.
(August 25, 2017, 5:42 pm)The two that are always..... ALWAYS there, I believe they are the owners. They are amazing, so very helpful and extremely kind. I refuse to go to any other store even if Pinch a Penny is closed and some where else is open. One of the best feelings is walking in there and they treat you like friends or family even. They are always able to tell me exactly what I need when I let my pool go a bit too long before revisiting them. They are also always honest and fair!!!! Thank you Mark and Wife at Pinch a Penny store # 175, Fishhawk/Boyette!!!
