My daughters have been at PCS for 3 years and they loved it. The teachers are wonderful and the communication with them and the entire school staff has been amazing.
June 2017 Update: My son just finished 4th grade (with Ms. Singleton) and my daughter just finished 1st grade (with Ms. Stevens). Both finished with "A" averages for the whole year. A result of good teachers, good learning environment, parents who help their kids with their homework and projects, and two kids who like school and who make an effort to do well.
- Both participated in basketball and loved it.
- Antonio participated in the huge school play. A very nice production.
- Still teaching the old children's Bible songs. Love that!
- Nice modest dress standard. Hope they keep that. Numerous other "christian" schools no longer do.
- Older kids have good friendly relationships with the younger kids. This is apparently fostered by the school and makes for a very good school experience.
- My kids are already enrolled for the 2017-2018 school year.
- New school administrator coming in for 2017-2018 year. Mr. Hubbart did a fine job during his tenure.

2016 Update: My little girl really enjoyed K5. 2 teachers for 20 children in her class. She learned a lot. Now on to 1st grade!
My little boy did real well in 3rd grade with Mrs. Poole - "A" average! She does well with all kinds of children. 9-10 in the class. Mrs. Singleton will be his 4th grade teacher. She was his 1st grade teacher and she's good.
---------------------
My son has been enrolled for first and second grades and my daughter is enrolled in K4. Both will be re-enrolled for the 2015 - 2016 school year.
They both enjoy going to school very much and have done very well academically.
Pros: (not necessarily in order)
- Good learning environment
- Children are well supervised
- Still learn Bible verses and the old children's songs like Jesus Loves Me!
- Neither of my children want to stay home from school. Because of bad teachers, problems with classmates, bullying, etc. some kids don't enjoy school. My children love going to PCS
- Small class sizes
- Tuition is reasonable
- Children taught to love Jesus and respect others
- Good behavior is expected of all the children
- Teachers care for the children and are accessible to Parents
- Though there is a sports program, the emphasis is on sportsmanship and having fun
Cons:
- Billing statements not easy to read
- No option to have statements emailed
My daughter attended Providence Christian School's Early Learning Center for the past two years and my husband and I are well-pleased with both, the quality of education as well as the Christian values she's learned at school. This will be her third year as she is headed to kindergarten and our family is excitedly looking forward to the upcoming academic year, trusting that our daughter will continue to grow in her faith in Jesus Christ and academic excellence. The teachers and staff are like family and they show love and tenderness to the children and are firm and fair disciplinarians. I thank God for this school and pray for His continued covering and grace.
Fantastic school. Great teachers and overall achievement scores. Godly atmoshpere.
