“I was driving home from a meeting and was hungry. I was expecting a long, hungry drive home to avoid eating gas station food. Saw the Taqueria Hernandez trailer and knew this was the place. I ordered two steak tacos and two pork sausage tacos. I could hear the tacos sizzling and the meat being chopped while I waited. A few minutes later there it is. The meats were flavorful and cooked well without being overcooked. The dressing for each was a bit of red pepper, some avocado, a side of sauted onions and some greens. Fresh, crunchy, great flavor, flavorful meats wrapped in a still sizzling taco. My go to place in the area.”

“Freddy's burgers are quite good. Thin patties in the smash burger style, and quality ingredients. However, the fries are terrible. Like really not good. First of all they are tiny. Not sure why anyone would cut the fries that small. Second, seasoning isn't good. However, just order the fried cheese curds instead of fries. Those are delicious. Be careful with the drive through. I would say about 80% of the time they have messed up my order. Also, cost is pretty high for what you get. All in all I very rarely go here since In-n-out is just up the road. Really only to satisfy a cheese curd craving.”

“Howie's is awesome! The pizza is good, especially for chain pizza and the prices are very cheap. Service is always fast. They will put flavoring on the crust for free. They have regular and thin crust options, but no deep dish style pizzas. The toppings are adequate but not huge portions of toppings. Their bread items are good too and also reasonably priced. We be sure to eat Howie's every time we come to Florida... and so far this trip we have gone twice. Yeah, it's that good! Also, sign up for email alerts... sometimes you will get special offers that make it an even better deal. But this place is cheap enough you are still getting a good value with their regular specials too. 5 stars!”

The chicken and fries for kids is a pretty good deal (and was well received). Enchiladas were delicious. I ordered salsa and chips and wished more salsa had come with the chips, but they were delightful nonetheless. I'm a big fan of refried beans and rice, and they did not disappoint here. Will have to come back and try the restaurant itself next time.”

Nice chill atmosphere. Our waitress was nice friendly and warm. Our food look delicious, smelled and tasted fine, however the meal did NOT sit well with mine or my guests stomach. We both ordered and chicken dish and however it was cooked left me sick with stomach cramps and pains for two days. Not sure if I'd go back.”
